Good Morning High Trust!
Those words really are like a rally or battle cry for me. When I hear them, or even think them, I become energized. I hope the same is true for you.
Some quick house keeping, remember our meetings start at 7:00 am. Actually, open networking begins at 6:45 am. We have started monitoring lates and sales manager moments will be shortened if you arrive after 7:00 am. Remember our goal is to make sure all members are present so that we can connect you with guest and discuss referrals.
Speaking of guests, great job as of late. I am sure you have seen the size of the room. We are filling it up and that is extremely exciting. Members are reporting that even if the guest do not join us, they are using member's services which has aided our Thank You For Closed Business numbers.
Did I just mention, "Thank You for Closed Business". My true excitement has been to be part of this team. I have told many of you how it was when I joined. I think we may have been less than 20 members. I still remember when we could almost count on the meeting ending early, due to the number of participants. Our goal back then was $450,000 in closed business. Now we are boasting a $1,196,000 in Thank You Closed Business! I know next week we will reach our goal of 1.2 million and there seems to be no end in sight. Please give yourselves a huge round of applause when the numbers are read out during the VP report. I, believe it or not, am a little disappointed I will not be there to hear it.
I will, and this too will happen, celebrate here on the beach at the exact time you are meeting with a Rum punch. Early achievements are fantastic. I know you had a successful week, and your quote for this week... may seem strange in the midst of all of this success, but it is good to remember...
"Losing is a learning experience. It teaches you humility. It teaches you to work harder. It is a powerful motivator" - Yogi Berra
I believe we have had our "learning" phase and have been "motivated" into being "Powerful"

Let's NOT Get Used to This
As it sets in that we are a "MILLON DOLLAR" Chapter, let's not forget what got us here.
We have been doing extremely well at scheduling 1-2-1 meetings. Learning about each others business has been a strong "foundation" for reaching our goals. We also have focused on learning about our visitors (potential members). It is amazing how many of our new members of our sales team have multiple 1-2-1's slips to place in the basket right after induction! This is a testament to our commitment on growing everyone's business in the chapter. Let's not loose this enthusiasm!
On this note, We have had a member volunteer to make sure our visitors are not only greeted prior to visiting, but contacted after their visit. As we refine our process, more members are going to become involved so that the "workload" is evenly distributed. Visitors bring added energy to our meetings and let's remember our "Top Ten Most Wanted". Also, have you noticed how many of our visitors end up needing a member product or service? This is a great opportunity to show our value!
Let's remember to look for those triggers that remind us of each others business. Our trigger networking has been the "re-bar" that strengthens our foundation. Keep including your "triggers" in your Sales Manager Moments. Spicing up our SMM has made the "Hot & Spicy" award not only a coveted award, but it has increased the creativity in the group.
Training has been the "studs" which have supported our walls that are "dripping with success". We have a number of 4 Star recipients. Let's keep that number growing. Have you noticed the expertise in which our Key Note speakers present their business? This is a skill which has been honed, and we all have the opportunity to learn more through our trainings. Take advantage of them
"Thank You For Closed Business" numbers (1,032,000) has become the amenity that our "house" has come to expect. We have built this "business of success", and maintaining it will require of focus on details that got us here. Great Job team!

A Date Worth Remembering
It has been some time since I have blogged about the "High Trust Team of Professionals". I apologize for that, and it is not because they are not worthy.
This team of professionals has been extremely busy. We must thanks the stream of visitors that have attended our meetings. You bring a great energy and excitement to are already High Energy meeting and for that we say "Thanks". Know that the invitation is always out there for those who want to grow your business. This is so evident in our last meeting we inducted 2 new members... so we continue to grow
High Trust has continued to learn about each others businesses through 1-2-1 meetings and fantastic keynote presentations. Our 1-2-1 numbers are consistent and even growing. Great work team!
A week ago today, something magical happened. Well let's be honest... there was no magic to this one. High Trust set a goal to become a chapter of networking professionals that "breed success". To quote our Education Coordinator, "Until it is dripping from the walls with success". Through hard work, attention to "triggers", and belief in our goals. High Trust has achieved one of it's goals. This should be remembered. This team of professionals, last week, broke the 1,000,000 dollar mark in CLOSED BUSINESS. From October, last year, to last week The High Trust Team of Professionals thanked each other for closed business officially $1,015,000 times.
This is definitely a date to remember. As we meet again today.... REMEMBER TO CONGRATULATE EACH OTHER. Our goal of $1.2 million in closed business is not only in site, but it is a mere stepping stone away.

G.A.I.N.S. and Million Dollar Chapter
How do I get to know more about you? What are our common interest? When I am referring clients to you, what are your commonalities? Our schedules have not matched so we have not had a 1-2-1?
I could go on with these questions, but there is one easy solution... GAINS. Goals, Accomplishments, Interests, Networks, and Skills are what gives us as members insight into each other. By filling out your GAINS profiles members can help you achieve. This allows "success to drip from the walls" as our education coordinator stated so eloquently. But wait there's more...
Completing your GAINS profile enters you in the new contest from our own VP... Mr. Dan Fowler. The blog that gets the most views on the High Trust BNI website (click for access) will get $100 American Express gift card. So in other words, for educating others about yourself and your skills, and for promoting your business and interests by blogging you get $100. Not to mention the business referrals, exposure, and increased credibility.... That's a WIN WIN! Make it happen. As of now, there are 8... scratch that 9 GAINS profiles (yours truly just added his). This should be at 20 before tomorrow. I have decided that I will update mine frequently. This is HIGH TRUST and goals are meant to be met and exceeded. So be prepared!
Preparation is what we had to do today for our added guest and potential members. Let me first advertise... That Rachel Parker of Green Worx Solar Inc. and Dr. Kara M. Takeda of Triangle Eye Care both submitted applications today! We might be growing. Let's all make sure we reach out to these applicants and get to know them.
We also had a number of visitors. Jan Cole of Jan Cole Massage, Robert Mata of Matar Law, Madison L. Huy of CBeyond, and Kate Marrs of Aflac. Thank you so much for making them feel the brand of High Trust. Let's keep in touch with them.
Jarvis M. Reeves III was our keynote speaker today. He is looking for individuals that have lost or had their benefits cut, had deductibles increased, and/or co-pays increased. Looking for companies from 2-50 with similar issues. Business owners who might state that, "I wish we could have helped that employee with...(usually health issue)" are great referrals for Jarvis. Finally, brokers looking to increase revenue and solidify their accounts.
Numbers.... let's really advertise this one. I need a different font for this one..... $574,786 is now the HIGH TRUST calling card. That number represents the number of "Thank You For Closed Business" earnings our members have reported. Over half a million dollars since October. Not even 5 full months! Incredible!!!! This needs to be shouted from the mountain tops... or at leats at the top of your social media pages.
Remember.... NETWORK with your EARS. Then blog about it... make it a successful week!

Drenched In Success
Another fantastic meeting with the High Trust team of professionals.
David Givot gave a success drenched education moment. If you were not there, then you really missed some true "Food For Thought". Let's remember one of the keys to our success, training. We all need to make our final pushes to make this team a Star chapter. We all need some training so to schedule trainings click here.
If there is a training we need that is not offered soon enough... Well Lily said to let me know and she will make sure we get a special training for this chapter. Now we have no excuses...
Our energy is always high, but when we get the number and caliber of visitors we did today... Well it goes up a notch. Thanks for visiting our chapter Amy Becker, Michael LeMaster, LeAnna Ricci Farris, Chris Morrissey, Kara Takeda, Lily Otieno, Ron Akasaka, and Gary Shelton.(click the name to learn more about them)
Don Stukes and Gary Shelton were our keynote speakers this week. Donald helps businesses get the capital they need, and secure lucrative contracts with government and private industry. The lending environment is tough at best. Small and medium size businesses are struggling to get the capital needed to secure some of the large contracts. When you find out about these businesses that are caught in the riptide and are looking for help. Tell them I know a guy! Don Stukes cannot not only help, but will be a business partner for life. Look for referrals for Don this week.
Let's record (blog) our success. Take a look at our teams revamped website. High Trust BNI's website has launched and we need YOU! Yes, you will make the difference in our chapters success. Please if there is an article that supports or mentions your business, please let us know. Did you have a 1-2-1 or power team meeting that you cannot wait to talk about then DON"T .... tell us right away! We all will share it on our social media pages to get the word out about you and your team.... Givers Gain! So give us some content so we all can GAIN!
The gains.... Let these numbers speak..... 21 referrals last week and 7 were inside. We are Gaining knowledge on each others business due to 65 1-2-1's last week alone OUTSTANDING! And $25,507 in Thank You For Closed Business last week. That brings our October to date total to $448,920.
Team we are so going to rock the stage at Evening Among the Stars ....

Trigger Networking and the Benefits Just Keep rolling...
Take time to really ponder our Education Coordinator's, David Givot, words of wisdom. "Trigger Networking" has been a gold mine for our chapter. When you see____ think of ____. This networking method has made us all realize things that should make our group think of us, and remember to "refer" our business when we see or hear these "triggers". Keep thinking of new triggers for your business and continue to look for others "triggers". Need reminding on all of the "triggers" for our chapter? Check out blog site out: http://hightrustbni.blogspot.com/
Speaking of our blog... Remember that you should post information about your business, new offerings/services, great 1-2-1's, etc. on this site. Please keep content flowing....
Chapter Success Forum yielded some great information about social events. Our group has a few groups that meet socially outside of the chapter. This is a great opportunity to invite visitors, informally, to interact with the members. power team meetings and the like are great opportunities... do not overlook them.
1-2-1 = 39 last week (we are really learning about each others businesses)
Referrals = 25 (Wendy & David have a great power team going, let's form more 14 referrals today alone)
Thank You For Closed Business = $29,212 last week; MTD = $84,381; YTD (starting in Oct.) = $401, 279! OUTSTANDING!!!! These are headlines....
Speaking of headlines... How does a "Newsie" become a Web Designer? Service, Service, Service until the things works as advertised. No longer should we think of a website as just a tool, think of it as another employee of your business. Dean has the know how and the "probing questions" (that's the journalist in him) to make sure you know and get what you want out of your website. Let's look for those "slow talking, uneventful, an uninformative" websites for Dean to work his magic on.
This just in ... A New networking event- http://rbninfo.com/expo/oc/index.asp
Have a great week and remember- Sometimes the hardest door to open to a new business contact is your vehicle's door. Make it happen!

Don't get winded... Let's keep sprinting!
Where to start? Let's start how we begun our meeting... our education coordinator reminded us what happens when we sprint. Sprinters get winded and slow down, then stop. We do not want that to happen to our team. This sales team has great momentum and we need to continue to drive toward our goals. Let's keep ourselves ready for the "race" we have yet to complete. Keep inviting, training, and looking for opportunities to refer one another.
GREAT NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY!!! BE THERE....
Chapter success forums are fantastic networking and excellent learning opportunities. Attendance by our team allows us to receive visitors and keeps us in good standing. Check out the event page for the forum closest to you, this Monday. I will be attending the 12:00 forum at Skylinks on Monday. Hope to see a few of you as well.
AT THE END OF THE DAY... It is about the numbers
I thought I should address again attrition. It is going to happen for various reasons. Team mates will have to leave us. These are still great contacts and should remain in our centers of influence. Their exit opens up an opportunity for us to make another contact. Our goal is to be at 35 members by April. We so can do this...
TYFCB is outstanding. We have not even got winded on this aspect. Let's continue to focus on each others triggers and keep referring.
Wedding invitations, Purchased property, Trusts, and Seniors are all triggers for our own Jordan Nefulda. Jordan is focusing on another aspect of his business, trust. Jordan listed the many reasons why a trust is an important aspect to protect assets and one intentions. Look for these triggers and get your referral slips in to Jordan.
GOLD STAR... I am going to post my registrations for classes to attain this goal on facebook. Who is with me? We also need a basic MSP to get more speakers on the schedule. Please make sure you complete this course.
The leadership and support team met. There were concerns with substitutes. It seems we need more accessible "last minute" substitutes. Beth Bingham might be the solution to your problem should you find yourself in the predicament. Of course your attendance is preferred, but we do understand at times our business and health might get in the way.
I trust you had a great week and look forward to seeing you Monday & Tuesday... High Trust!

Goals and our focus
We are on the success train!
I am excited at what this team has already accomplished, and what these accomplishments represent as a stepping stones to our long term goals.
Growth... We are doing it...
Veronica Guzman is the newest member of our team. Veronica specializes in Landlord/Tenant Law. Just to show her commitment she has already completed a few 1-2-1's. Let's all try to learn about her business so that we can help her business grow. Welcome Veronica!"
Ribbon Goal
We have a deadline that is approaching quickly.... Gold Star! By April we want to have all members recieve their gold ribbon. In order to complete this goal we all (trust me I have fingers pointed at myself as well) need to schedule trainings. To find trainings and schedule your attendance start here: http://www.socalbni.com/cgi-bin/calendar/mainMonth.cgi
Please use your "accountability teams", mentors, and those that challenge you to ensure you make this goal. Please remind your president as well... (smile)
A Chicken Farm??? Really!
Probate sales, short sales, cloud on title, obscure area, and chicken farms are all obstacles that our Julaine has cleared on her road to success. To be viable in the real estate business one has to have knowledge, cunning, and the business reflexes of a "ninja". Julaine Waggoner has all of these qualities and more. Her keynote highlighted the current market and the challenges it presents. This market has also made some great opportunites. Remember home buyers that believe homeownership is just a dream have not been educated by Julaine. CPA's & Probate Attorneys that believe liquidating properties should take years... have not been educated by Julaine. Julaine's goal is to spread her wealth of knowledge and prove through her actions that real estate is still a great investment and very attainable. Let's look for these sources of business for our legendary realtor!
It's Our Code....
David Givot & Ken Tolerico both mentioned the BNI Code of Ethics. It was expounded upon and made clear why we should not just read this upon induction of new members. This should be part of our everyday business atmosphere and activities. Let's remember it. As a matter of fact, Dan Fowler has asked us to record ourselves reciting the code of ethics for a video montage. Let's help him spread the word....
The Numbers...
We continue to meet with each other. Our 1-2-1's are steady. Our vistors have been happy and consistent. Thank You for Closed Business is over $320,000. High Trust has been rolling forward toward our goal of being a million dollar chapter. We are proving that missing one of our meeting could be hazardous to your wealth...

Resolutions, Triggers, and Training... High Trust is already running
While some have decided to ease in to the New Year... High Trust has continued on it's path. Even through the holiday season we continued to have visitors and continued to grow our chapter. For that you are to be commended. Keep up the good work.
As our Growth and Retention team stated, "We are a group that likes to be held accountable". It seems our accountability teams were, and are, a success. Keep using them! Also, remember training is the key. We have added a new goal for this year...."Everyone should be a Gold Star ribbon holder by April. Lily you might want to make sure your supply is full, because you know what happens when High Trust focuses on a goal. Can someone say, "A Gold Ribbon Party"?
Lisa Lockhart of Lockhart & Associates was our key note speaker today. Branding is definitely her game. Why did Coke ever try that "New Coke" thing without talking to her first? Are we all using our collection of impressions to our advantage? Have we or those that we do business with asked the correct positioning statements? In looking at the sales material examples she sent around, who do we know that needs not only to market their brand, but needs to identify their target market? These and even more probing questions are what Lisa helps her clients to answer, and then sell to those markets. Let's remember her "position" and get those "incorrectly branded" companies to her, right away!
Our Education Coordinator discussed with us our personal business goals for this new year. Goal setting is important, but without accountability then they are just secrets you keep. We all wrote down our goals for our prospective businesses, so that through the course of this year we can assess our progress. Also, were asked to write down our BNI goals. Basically, what are "you" going to do to help this chapter? We all had excellent input, and when we succeed... well Giver Gain.
Finally... and most important... $102,000 in the month of December! Like I said, this is usually the time when most reflect and check out for the year... High Trust kept the pedal to the metal and fired through... We had 21 visitors during the month of December. Energy is an attractor, just ask Veronica Guzman who sent in an application for membership today.

Bringing in the Cheer for the Holidays
We were overwhelmed by the number of visitors this week. They showed up in spite of the rain, and they all brought their own energy. Some served as substitutes (another good sign) but most were interested in our chapter and many were on their second visit! I think they wanted to see if we could keep the same energy a second time. The room was full with energy and people... it was a picture perfect event!
Speaking of pictures, we all should be on the look out for "Catherine"! You know the creative person who enjoys using their creativity for scrap booking and recording memories. Marilee gave us a great breakdown of the different personalities she is looking for. I have already found "Catherine's" opposite. Remember, Marilee is able to help those who do not want to hear the "S" word. She has programs to bring those pictures stuck in cyberspace and san cards to life. Allowing these photos and memories to be shared and enjoyed for a lifetime.... still done "your way". Let's be on the look out for Marilee's targets and lets get some great referrals for her. We can do it. We are trained professionals!
And now that I mentioned training.... Our always informative and even more entertaining Education coordinator David Givot mentioned that he is one class away from getting his "Gold". He also mentioned the importance of deciding whether you are a "creator". Remember we all want to be creators for each others business. Using great examples like our own Beth Bingham & George Papacalous to show how when planning events for our own business and using our "sales team" as participants helps everyone. It becomes one very functional and profitable family!
Switching to family... Let's all keep in mind our sister chapter Go Getters. We are planning a social event with them. This will be a great opportunity for the exchange of ideas and possibly meeting another referral recipient or source. I will keep you posted...
Posted, Did I say "Posted"? Well that is exactly what Dan showed us. He has posted our top 10 list. Dan also reminded us to use our accountability teams. If there is something that needs to be done to get these teams more fluid then... suggestions are welcomed. These teams have been working and our stats have been growing.
Speaking of Stats... Here is THE NUMBER, $20,636. This is how far away we are from our goal of a month to date total of $300,000. Let me just say this... You guys are Amazing! We set a goal in September, that frankly, was a stretch. We are on the road not only to stay away from this recession, but to be a million dollar chapter... exceedingly so!
Enjoy the Holidays. I hope it brings you, All the Best and the Best of All. I know that I am working with the best and that is one of the greatest presents that keeps giving the whole year through.

I was asked, "How was HT this week?"
I really do not know where to start with my response to this question. High Trust has been picking up speed toward it's goal, and there seems to be no end in sight.
I should start with a bit of housekeeping...
We have been on an incredible roll. There is a ton of business being passed among the members, and I know this has increased all of our responsibilities and reduced our "free" time. However, our absences without substitutes have been up (20). As all of know, our commitment begins with our attendance. This is just a reminder that we all can help each other by asking for help when we know we are going to be absent. Many of us know others who can stand in for us. Control letters will be sent out after two absences without substitutes as a reminder. Our mentors will also make contact to help with the situation. All of this is done because you are an integral part of this team of professionals. We are designed to help each other. Our goal is not to eliminate you, rather elevate your experience with this team. So if you are having issues please reach out, we are here to help... Ok enough said.
Kim Spucces stood in as our key note speaker and focused on training. Specifically, Referral Mindset and how we can all become better sources of referrals. Let's remember that we have a great tool in trainings.
Dan Fowler took over the education moment and discussed commitment. Have you had a look at our team lately? We continue to grow. We hope to add another member soon, and this is due to our commitment and energy. Let's keep looking for triggers. Let continue to utilize our active listening. Let's take Jimi Mapel up on his challenge to be all "Four Star" ribbon holders. Utilize our trainings! In other words lets continue to commit.
Now for the answer to that question... "How was HT this week?" High Trust this week had 6 visitors (some will be members soon). High Trust this week...had 24 1-2-1's so that we continue to expand our knowledge of each others business. 9 Referrals were passed. How was HIGH TRUST THIS WEEK?! High Trust had $38,067 in Thank You For Closed Business! High Trust passed the $200k mark. High Trust currently stands at $224,322 for two months! So High Trust this week is ... making it happen.
Great Job Guys!

Can You Still Feel It?
I know that I do... Still feel it... That entity that is unique to High Trust.... ENERGY!
I want to start off this blog (soon everyone will be a follower...right?) by Thanking the visitors this week. We had many
Secretly, David Givot & Jennifer Goralski are working on a road tour. I know this because their messages of "Triggers", "Active Listening", and now "Training" is hitting home. Others are asking what we are doing, and I believe we are listening, learning, and best of all applying. As the writer of this blog, I too am going to challenge all of us to make sure we are utilizing the great training we have available through BNI. I think as a chapter to have a majority of members be "Gold Star" members is feasible.
The Kim & Dan show (aka Growth and retention) have been telling us to pay attention to our Top 10 list. We have been successful inviting them, and soon they will introduce a contest to "UP THE HEAT" on our goals. Stay Tuned
Speaking of GOALS Almost at $200,000 for a two month total for Thank You For Closed Business! I need someone to comment on this blog with what one seat in our chapter is worth... That is truly why this is so exciting for our group. 105 1-2-1's ! We are getting this networking thing done... This is like we were born to do this... It is just Natural...
And Natural is exactly the "trigger" for Arbonne (did you like that segue?). Beth Bingham-Georges informed us of the amount of poisons the typical woman puts on her skin. Frightening! Arbonne products help women and men in a number of ways. We heard testimonials of acne issues being resolved, compliments being given, and how it helps those with allergies. Also, many products are gluten free which is a goal for many parents of children with autism. Let's help Beth spread the word to not only those we know with allergies, children, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), PTA/PTO, but anyone who has skin. As Dean mentioned, Arbonne products make great gift baskets (even if the reaction is delayed).
Remember I will be out for the next two meetings on vacation. I plan to still blog, as I get information on how wonderful this team is doing. I leave you in the extremely capable hands of Dan Fowler.
Finally, as most of you know we have had a large number of visitors the last few meetings. I just wanted to give a "smile of gratitude" to Julaine Waggoner for conducting the visitor orientation with such style and grace.

Listen, Learn, then Network...
Yesterday seems so far away... But what a lesson we learned from it!
Let's start with the numbers.... Our V.P. has informed me that, "We can do it!" For the month of November (only two weeks)
This is a great "sizzle" we have going. I believe it is because we have been listening for "TRIGGERS". It seems quite evident by our numbers that we are identifying these catch words. Remember, every one of your contacts has a need that the HIGH TRUST team of professionals can, and will, satisfy. Personally, I have been contacting members while on appointments when I have not heard a "trigger" word. Believe me they have come to my rescue. So use your accountability teams. Now it is time to put to work our Education Coordinators' next step.... "ACTIVE LISTENING". Do not be too quick to respond when working with each other and with clients. "Active Listening" is a skill so let's all hone our skills and increase our productivity.
1-2-1 / Sales Manager Moment exercise.... Great Job. Being able to identify something you enjoyed or learned from your 1-2-1 with the group not only shows we are really paying attention, but also sparks interest within the group and our visitors. One member is even promoting another members business within their establishment.... talk about going the extra mile with GIVERS GAIN! You are all stars!
Speaking of Stars... Our keynote speaker, Dan Fowler of Red River Productions, can make many business stars and the envy of their competition. TRIGGERS- Before & After, Group Presentations, Social Media, Video... All of these are words that should make you think of Dan Fowler and his powers. His power partner team of four (Dan A., Dean, Lisa) can turn many businesses into a "branded Internet video top of all searches" STAR.... Let's look for more opportunities to refer to him.
Growth & Retention added to our top ten list.... Let's look for these professions, and remember how to invite potential members.
Welcome our visitors! Paul Fiala - Quality Custom Cabinets. He not only learned about our team, but noticed the right place to sit during the meeting! Alice G. Tadros, Esq. attended our meeting. She extended an invitation to visit Abundance BNI. I think we should take her up on it. Thanks again for visiting and participating.
CALL TO ACTION!!!!
Every member needs to be a follower of our own High Trust BNI Blog. www.hightrustbni.blogspot.com/
So there can be some time before your next keynote presentation. How about writing/blogging you new product or service. Is there something that this season brings or rings for your business... BLOG IT. This is your opportunity to get your thoughts out to more than just our sales team. Most "share" this site in social media arenas. Your service may be very interesting to another members contacts. It is easy and fun... try it...and we are here to help.
On that note.... If you are reading this via email.... become a follower of http://hightrustthisweek.blogspot.com/

Keep the Number Growing
High Trust Sales Team of Professionals is at it again.
I am running out of adjectives for this group, that I am proud to be a part of. Our meetings just seem to keep growing and are filled with information. Where do I start...
Well let's start here... Our Growth and Retention (Kim and Dan A.) team put together a visual 10 Ten Most Wanted. As of yesterday it has become the Top 9. Let's welcome Don Stukes, CMC of BAS Consulting! Don makes us 31 members strong and growing. Catch him on linkedin. Contact Don and schedule 1-2-1's so that we can get him up and running with referrals and "triggers" about our own business. Our G & R team want you to remember to be ACCOUNTABLE. Work within your accountability teams. G & R teams challenged us to do something in our sales manager minutes...
"As He Was Walking Down the Street..." That should be music to your ears. Our own David Givot (Education Coordinator) is going to keep reminding us of "triggers". We should be listening for these "triggers" during our conversations. Have you noticed the referral basket? We are filling it up and this is because we are "trigger" happy. Let's keep the river of referrals flowing and keep "listening for these "triggers". David challenged us to do something in our sales manager minutes... Do you remember what?
Visitor hosts... are you busy enough yet? We had 5 visitors. All either spoke with me or emailed and stated that were overwhelmed! Overwhelmed by our greetings. Surprised by our follow up. Genuinely surprised by our support for one another. We are not surprised as this is how WE ROLL! "Triggers" for visitors are easy to hear. "I want to grow my business because...." Let keep showing them the High Trust brand of growth.
Speaking of growth.... HIGH TRUST IS ROCKING! Dan, our VP, mentioned our 70,000 + in "Thank You For Closed Business"... But I have a new stat for you.... Yesterday this team thanked each other for Closed Business (you should hear the lyrics in your head now "Money Money ...M-O-N-E-Y) $33,454 times! Now that should be worth posting. Tell everyone that this is the team to be on!
Speaking of Money.... Have I introduced you to Cindy (Enrolled Agent) Szerlip our keynote speaker. She has an interesting background which includes music (I am serious). She gave a great presentation on something that could be dull... TAXES. Cindy not only made it incredibly interesting, but also made told us what type of clients she likes. Do not get this confused, she likes all of her clients, but some are favorites. Musicians and Entertainment business she has a special place in her business heart. I know she works with PTA's and family trusts... just to name a few. So listen for "triggers" for Cindy. There were a lot of questions left unanswered so I know there will be some 1-2-1's with Cindy.
Let me give a quick "Kudo's" to our past LT & ST teams. All of this success would not be possible without your efforts. This is your wave, and I am glad to be caught up in it.

October 26... High Trust Hit the BIG 30!
Well it was a fantastic meeting again with the High Trust sales team of professionals!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves though... David Givot again reminded us that we need to still be looking for those "triggers" that will help us to refer to our sales team's strenghts and professions. Also, remember to look at your "TYFCB" (Thank You for closed Business) opportunities. Specifically, the Tier 3 referrals, the repeat business referrals, and for the subscription referrals (residual). In closing our Education Coordinators and our growth and retention teams (Kim Spucces & Dan Arteritano) want us to do one thing this week;

COMMIT
- Commit to looking for opportunities for inviting
- Commit to listening for triggers
- Commit to attending trainings & chapter fourms
- Commit to your High Trust sales team
We heard of many ways to get more out of your networking experiences, your social media, and just from those things you just enjoy doing. Let's utilize these ideas and make all of the difference for each otherand ultimately for ourselves... Givers Gain!
CELEBRATE !!!!!!!
This was an exciting meeting because a year ago this was not true... Those senior members of our chapter can attest to this, and I am so happy for our team. We inducted a new member, Jason Boyer - Bankruptcy Attorney. Jason represents our 30 member! Wow, how we have grown. Let's welcome Jason with 1-2-1 so we can quickly let him hit the "basket" with 1-2-1's, referrals, and "TYFCB". I have already spoke with him, and he has some interesting perspectives that will help a number of our businesses. The big 30 never felt so good!

High Trust Hits it's Stride
I needed a new format as I toy with how to deliver more news to our sales team. This news is exciting… Please give me feed back as you read. You might want to read from the bottom up (and that is the last time bottom will be in one of my emails).
EDUCATION
As you know this is an ongoing process as we strive to become better networkers. This weeks message was poignant one… TRIGGERS! All day, and all week we need to look for those TRIGGERS that give us clues to referrals. Listen and look for them as you talk with clients and listen to conversations.
KEY NOTE PRESENTATION
Wendy Austin informed us all that “insurance companies don’t just take your money!” Let all think of ways we can help refer businesses to her. Farmers’ MILK program & disaster preparedness programs should be essential to most businesses in California. Protecting our children is among the top concerns for most citizens. Let look for those preschools, day care providers, hotels, motels, and schools for Wendy.
CHANGES IN OUR POLICIES
Remember we changed our policy for Basic MSP training back to 12 months. We also changed the necessity for attending Key Note & Sales Manager Moment in order to be on the speaker schedule. Fine tuning our presentations will gain us additional referrals and lead to more “Thank You for Closed Business”. (Million Dollars)
GROWTH & RETENTION
Our “Top Ten Most Wanted” has gone visual. Lets start looking for these individuals and invite them to the most exciting chapter in the land. 5 visitors today! WHAT? You guys are not only talking the talk, but we will be striding across the stage at the next “Evening Among the Stars”. Do not forget about our accountability program. Lets encourage each other on the team to reach our personal goals!
NEWS FLASH!!!! THIS JUST IN!!!! BREAKING NEWS!!!!!
GET the fanfare and the drum roll ready. OUR GOAL TO BE A MILLION DOLLAR CHAPTER…. requires dedication and focus…. WELL YOU GUYS HAVE EAGLE EYES!!!! Are ready for this? (do you hear that music too)
High Trust, today, passed $35,092 in closed business!!! Let people know! Facebook it, Twitter it, Link it in ...yell it from the mountain tops!
Our total for this month is $53,969! Holiday Slow Down ? Recession? phwaat WHAT?! Our VP just emailed me that we can hit $80k this month and I believe him… Let’s Do This
Thanks for letting me be president of a fantastic sales force! Now go get those referrals! Why? ( I hear David’s voice) “Because GIVERS GAIN !”
